Social Media.
HIII GUYS!!
Social Media is something I can't imagine my life without. I rely on social media so I can talk to my boyfriend who lives out in the sticks with no phone signal. I rely on social media so that I can arrange things with my friends. It reminds me of peoples birthdays, big events and such. Social media allows me to have a nosey at others peoples lives (We all do it). Social media allows me to be me I can reveal the true me because I'm behind a screen. I can tweet how I'm feeling that day without having the need to put up pretences for the benefit of people I work with or my family and friends. I can share those thoughts that are scary and other people will be fine with it because they might be having a crappy day too. Social media inspires me. Pinterest and Tumblr have all these beautiful pictures that make me sigh and go 'that's how my house will be one day' 'I can pull off something like that, right?' 'My very-in-the-future children will have beautiful things like that'. It makes me believe that one day I can have that 'perfect life'
But then theres a side to social media that scares me. People can comment, DM, reply, message.. anything. People can be cruel over the most terrible things and those people who have opened up, shared a secret or just been themselves get judged and ridiculed and it makes me so sad. When those people have turned to social media just to rant or express themselves or share their thoughts some people find that it's okay to put these people down, point out their flaws and laugh at them. Its painful to watch. It amazes me that just because these 'trolls' behind a screen they feel that they can say these things. You wouldn't walk up to someone in the street and say anything that hurtful so why say it online. The amount of people who develop anxiety, depression and other mental health problems because of the abuse and comments online is devastating. I wish I could give each person a hug that's had to go through this.
Lastly, to those people who have had comments or anything of the sort - I'd just like to apologise on behalf of the people who said those comments. You don't deserve it, you're beautiful and smart and just because one or a few people online 'think' that does not mean that's how you should see yourself and definitely does mean that it is true. Look to your friends and family or people you trust, they see you for you and love you for it! I hope you see yourself as the people who love you see you.
Hope this all makes sense and people know where I'm coming from, it's a deep and sensitive subject.

Inspiration During Dark Days.
Hiii Guys!
Most of this post won't be me rambling on it'll be pictures and post I've found on Tumblr and Pinterest that has made me smile, made me remember that it's not all bad and made me feel better about things. I struggle like everybody. I have days where I feel like I have no idea so these have helped and just been a reminder that it's okay to feel a bit crappy but that it'll all sort it's self out and be okay in the end. I hope they give you hope that things will be okay. I know it gets hard and you feel like it'll never get better but I promise you it will. It may take months or even years but you'll be okay in the end and you will be happy for the mean time be patient, be strong and be as wonderful as you are.

Where In The World
Just a quick one to explain where I've been in the past couple of weeks...
I went on holiday! :D A long over due holiday with my boyfriend. To Cuba! No wifi, no phone signal to keep you guys updated so here it is.
We went to one of the islands in the north of Cuba, Cayo Guillermo. It was beautiful. White sand, clear sea, bright sunshine and temperatures around 30C. Gorgeous. We stayed in the hotel foe the first xouple of days relaxing around the pool and on the beach. We then went to Havana - the capital - for a three day trip which was truly amazing. We spent time with the tour and showed us the sights and also at night we went to the National Hotel for a few drinks then went back to our hotel across the road. On one of the nights we went to a underground jazz club, just me and Miles. I couldnt stop smiling. Don't know if it was the mojitos or the music or the company. Probably a mixture of all three. On the last day we went out on a catermaran (a boat) amd wesnt snorkeling and then the boat took us to Playa Pilar beach which is the best beach in Cuba. Lots of time sunbathing and toppinf up our tans beforw we came home to dreary England.
So there it is a quick look at what we got up to for a week. Sorry it seems rushed but I dont want to bore you all with the details. All I can say is Cuba is a gorgeous country that I would recommend to anyone. ( if you can cope with a 9 hour flight!!!) :O
Ciao for now,
Sian xx

Window shopping
Hiii guys!!!
So yesterday me and my friend Natalie went shopping and as always grabbed a coffee during the day. We ended up window shopping in Next home and Dunelm Mill. Do you ever walk round shops and decide what type of things will be in your future house? Even if that house in your mind is far off in the future? I love picking out the good the bad and the ugly furniture and accessories. So here's a few of the things we found and that I couldn't help but take a few snaps.
Just a quick post I know, but I wanted to share with you the things I found. I had a great day yesterday and enjoyed every moment of it. Its great how the small little outings with no planning can turn into some of the nicest days :)
Ciao for now,

Wanderings
Me and my friend went and grabbed a coffee on Saturday and ended up staying in the coffee shop for two hours because we were too busy people watching. Just playing games; wondering what jobs they have, picking out what car they have in the car park as they're going out and just wondering what those people like to do on a weekend. I enjoy playing games like that, I think it might be because I'm generally a nosy person. Oops! I like the fact that I can spend two hours and to most people they'd see that time as wasted but because I shared it with my friend, times like that are precious to me. They make me smile remembering them throughout the week and it saved me from sitting at home and wasting that time watching telly I have no interest in.
About to get deep here (for me) so if that isn't your style skip to the next paragraph. ;)......
But I think we all need to appreciate time we spend with our friends and family more. I include myself in this. Especially when we have our phones, tablets, Ipods or anything else glued to us. Taking a break and actually spending time with people is what brings us closer together. I forget sometimes that I'm meant to be spending time with a person and not scrolling down Facebook and hoping something catches my eye. I saddens me that I don't take 5 minutes out of my day to sit down and have a proper conversation with someone I love. That is something I'm working on and hoping I can put this in to practice more often.
Wow, after that I think I want to discuss something a bit more light-hearted. I'm going back to the gym!!! :D after nearly a year away I'm back and can't wait. I miss going and training or going to Zumba or spinning classes. Just ordered some new trainers and work gear. Kicking myself back into shape! Going on Saturday with my friend to sign up. I used to go alone but I've persuaded her to join me. I'll have to let you know how it all goes. If you want a post 'What's in my gym bag?' let me know :) I used to love going but had to stop as I didn't have enough time with work and what not so I'm excited to get back into it.
Anyways, enough ramblings from me

Getting To Know Me
Everyone hates their first blog post but hopefully I won't be one of those people. I'm thinking short and sweet will be better.
My name is Sian and I have wanted to have a blog for about 2 years now so I'm taking the plunge. I am currently doing my Level 3 apprenticeship in Children and Young Peoples Workforce in a day nursery. I work currently in a room with 3-5 years but have worked in different rooms. Its not just my job this is my vocation and I don't know what I'd do without my job. I am interested in fashion, make-up, and health and fitness outside of work. I hope that I can share my passions and ideas. I hope I will have the confidence to share my life with you.
